Buon Natale

Dear friends,

I want to take a moment to thank you for spending the last year with me on this blog. I did not post as often as I would have liked to (I never do) but I enjoyed hearing from you, reading your comments, and sharing our mutual love of Italian home cooking. I hope you’ll be back in 2016 for new recipes, new book projects, travels to Abruzzo and more. Wishing you a peaceful and happy holiday and all good things in the New Year.

Buon Natale e felice Anno Nuovo!

    Dear Domenica,
Thank you for sharing your passion for the fresh, seasonal foods of Italy. You have given me the inspiration to cook as my grandmother did while using the best from what is available at the farmer’s markets. And this Christmas, we will be united around a family table to share Zuppa di Pesce allo Zafferano. It is a wonderful way to celebrate our heritage, the abundance of wonderful food we have to share, and the joy of being together!
