tasting at
La Cuisine, Old Town Alexandria. Come sample three recipes
from my first book, The Glorious Soups and Stews of Italy—Lentil
Soup, Cream of Porcini Soup, and, for a little something sweet,
Apple Crostata. All will be paired with wines from
Grape +
Bean. The event is free, and all items relating to the
tasting will be discounted 10 percent.
Sunday, October 18, 2009, 11-12 p.m.
Tasting, demo, and book signing at the Dupont Circle
Freshfarm Market. Come sample Sweet Potato Chips with Rosemary
and Sea Salt from Big Night In. I will be signing copies of
both my cookbooks and answering your cooking questions.
